Linda’s Success Story….. [REVISITED]

Hi Mr T,
It’s coming up to my 6 months mark of stopping smoking and joining Bootcamp and I’m feeling a bit squishy and reflective, so just hang in there for a bit and listen. ………
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be at this stage in my life and getting ready to start training for a stampede or any other fitness based event! 6 months ago I visited my asthma nurse and took a test that showed I had only 60% capacity in my lungs. This was after years of heavy smoking and chronic asthma. I realised then that if I didn’t make changes that I would end up on oxygen before I hit 60. I had stopped smoking lots of times before but due to weight gain I had always gone back on them…….crazy! That was until I emailed you that first time. I had a friend who came to Bootcamp and she had tried to get me to come along but I never did. The visit to the nurse was the push I needed! Now….6 months on….I love to exercise. ….sometimes 8 times a week and I’m going to start running!!!!! Oh my god! And it’s all down to you and the lovely team at pinch an inch! I always seem to get hung up on losing weight but really that wasn’t my goal in the first place, it was to not put any on! So, I’ve achieved that and some……
