One of the things i hear A LOT in my kinda work is people saying….. I’m ‘Starting fresh’ tomorrow
and Its normally after a weekend of scoffing too many ‘treats’
They feel GUILTY and plan to rectify things by starting fresh, (normally on Monday morning)
Sound familiar?
Yup, we’ve all been there
Even me!
This weekend was no exception as I celebrated my 21st Birthday (again)
I had few naughty treats myself, but do i feel guilty?
Hell no
You see the thing is, some people do this EVERY weekend
The problem with this?
Your body actually starts to recognize the PATTERN and all your hard work can be RUINED
You see, being good all week then throwing in loads of high calorie food and drink in your body can completely UNDO all your hard work from the week.
Its kinda like taking 1 step forward then 2 step back!
Meaning you’ll STAY in exactly the same place
Not good if you really wanna shed that fat!
So, Tyrie’s Top Tip of week…..
Reel in the treats and make some CUT BACKS!
I’m not talking about banishing everything and living on straw for the rest if the week
Instead, just make SENSIBLE cut backs
Plan a cheat meal in advance so you look forward to it (this way you don’t feel guilty)
Instead of having a whole weekend of naughty meals, try and counteract some of them with really healthy meals
Trust me, you’ll see a HUGE difference in your results….
Check this, If you’re burning an average of 500 calories doing a workout and you do 4 sessions per week, this gives you a 2000 calorie deficit
Its soooooo easy to put an extra 2000 cals back in your body over 2 days!
Just one glass of wine is about 250 calories!
Do yourself a favor, try cutting back a bit this week and see how you get on
Hope this helps
